Lee Sun-sin was a renowned general during the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. He was the son of King Seonjo and Queen Inmok. He is well-known as a prominent figure in the Joseon Navy and is often referred to as a brilliant military commander.

Lee Sun-sin spearheaded the strengthening of the Joseon Dynasty's naval forces and developed the turtle ship, a formidable armored warship that played a crucial role in defeating Japanese naval fleets. During the Imjin War, which took place from 1592 to 1598, Lee Sun-sin achieved remarkable victories against Japan in battles such as the Battle of Ganghwa Island and the Battle of Myeongnyang. His strategic brilliance and fearsome combat abilities contributed to significant triumphs over the Japanese forces.

Lee Sun-sin is revered as a master strategist and is considered one of the Four Great Kings of Joseon for his military accomplishments and unwavering loyalty. His heroic tales and tactical acumen have earned him great respect and admiration in Korean history.
